Hand-carved from a single piece of teak, Hampai is made to be lived with. Over time, it will gather its own marks, stories, and memories, just as the objects we grow up around always do.

Care

Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or heat. Do not use harsh detergents, dishwashers, or microwaves. To maintain its luster, occasionally condition with food-safe oil or beeswax.
Design

For years, my granny cooked over a wood fire in the same pot. It blackened with soot, picked up dents, cracks, and an uneven rim, yet she never saw a reason to replace it. Hampai draws from that familiar shape, not as a copy, but as a memory of an object that quietly became part of everyday life.
